2015 – Our Year in Review

Hanukkah has passed, Christmas has come and gone, and soon we will all be celebrating a new year. That means it is the perfect time to reflect on all of the amazing things that have happened to us in the last 12 months. Unfortunately, we only have enough time to cover a very small percentage of the projects we have produced and the companies we have been blessed to work alongside. Still, we are absolutely grateful for every single person and company that has afforded us the opportunity to collaborate together.

Our film that delves into the impact that our local Habitat for Humanity has was one of our most personal projects. It took nearly a year to complete and it was worth every moment. You see, our name Life Bridge (was not a mistake but in fact) was chosen because we want to make an impact and help build and strengthen our surrounding communities. Habitat does this every single day.

From the workers and the volunteers to the home owners, you can see the impact of Habitat written on their faces. The stories that we heard and the tears that were shed in overwhelming joy, will stay with us forever.

Thomasville GA has always impressed me. The people, the city, the support of an artistic community. Nichols Lures is no exception.

In a time where there are so many companies that mass produce products over-seas to keep costs low; Nichols Lures is exuberantly proud to be made in the U.S.A. With a staff so local and friendly they never fail to say “Hello” no matter where we may run into each other.

Ticket was a slightly different project for us as it was the first truly narrative short film we’ve had the opportunity to produce in nearly 5 years. Not to mention we did it in 60 hours, start to finish. For this endeavor Life Bridge teamed up with a friend of ours, Michael Wise (director). In producing this piece the duo of Bald and Wise Films (our own Tommy Davis and Michael Wise) will hopefully be a reoccurring event in the years to come.

While we did not come home with an award from the 60 hour film festival, we did return with a fire in our soul. In 2016 we are making it our goal to create more short films and original content. We are also stepping on to our first feature film set on a to-be-announced project.

We hope 2015 was a wonderful and successful year for you as well and we pray 2016 will be a remarkable and memorable year for all.

God bless and a Happy New Year to you all,

Tommy Davis
